Our organization is working on resources to support change in criminal justice policy and we need to find someone who is interested in working with us to develop research based support materials.

Our organization is currently looking for two additional board members. These two seats are currently available for qualified candidates who have a personal connection and passion with criminal justice reform.

Qualifications

• Be personally impacted or moved passionately by the criminal justice system
• Previous board position desired, but not required
• Be of high professional and moral standing

Responsibilities

• Be a constant ambassador and proponent of the organization to the general public and work to engage the people of our community in our organization
• Champion A Voice From Prison's vision, and goals and raise awareness of our services to the public
• Attend virtual board meetings
• Reviews budget and financial reports
• Generate fundraising ideas and participate in actions and events
• Help identify and cultivate prospective donors and open doors with introductions
• Actively participate in discussions to share ideas and insights to improve our services
• Oversee the identification, recruitment, orientation, training, and retention of Board members

A Voice From Prison is looking for a social media specialist go help with our growing online presence.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in a social media capacity
• In-depth working knowledge of social media platforms including management experience and understanding of platform functionality (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok)
• Experience creating digital and written editorial content for multiple audiences and platforms
• Attention to detail
• Desire to volunteer in a strategic social media position

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging organic social media/editorial content, increasing follower growth and engagement with multiple audiences to further enrollment, reputation and philanthropic goals
• Manage regular postings on A Voice From Prison's social media platforms
• Stay current on emerging technologies, platforms and content trends
• Monitor social analytics/trends/activity onA Voice From Prison's accounts to understand content performance
